Fifteen years connecting people to the technology they use every day. Now running ODD as the engineering partner for the people who build the network. If your broadband build needs engineering that gets it done right and hands it off clean — that's exactly what ODD is built for.
After 15 years designing and deploying fiber infrastructure across some of the country's largest broadband programs, I launched ODD to offer something most clients couldn't get from larger firms: a senior engineer who stays on the job from first survey to final turnover — without the overhead, junior handoffs, or communication gaps. If you have a plan and the funding, I can make sure it gets built right and handed off clean.

Joined Rise Internet (formerly Rise Broadband) as a member of a 2–3 person OSP/FTTx engineering team at program kickoff (Feb 2023), covering Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Colorado. Following a company-wide workforce reduction in early 2025, transitioned into the functional engineering project lead role and served as the company's sole FTTH engineer — a position held through program closeout in April 2026. Supported delivery of 300,000+ homes passed across multi-region programs — roughly 60% Texas, 40% multi-state. Broadband grant engineering spanned Illinois, Colorado, and Texas; the highest-dollar awards — supporting $160M+ in approved funding across 3 of 5 Texas counties — were Texas-based.
OSP Engineer, Carlsbad CA, on-site. Part of the design team executing Compact Active Site (CAS-P) fiber systems supporting FTTx residential and commercial deployments. Greenfield and subdivision fiber design, pole-data verification, fiber-pair assignment at splice enclosures, design-submittal QA from regional backbone interconnect down to customer-placed network equipment.
